Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?
My favorite quote is from Denis Diderot, and it has to do with freedom.
“Man will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest.”
This quote is a big part of the reason why I reject both the monarchy and all religions. I do realize that my country of Canada is tied to the British monarchy, but thankfully, it doesn’t really affect my daily life ,with the possible exception that my home province is called British Columbia.
