My husband has been cleaning out our second bedroom so we can put our new exercise machine in there. We had a bed there and he decided to put the mattress up against the wall for now. Athena is a lover of high places, and I think you can guess where the new spot is.
Canadian actor and comedy icon, Catherine O’Hara has passed away today and much too early at the age of 71. No cause was given as yet. On a personal note, I’ve loved her since the first episode of SCTV aired in the 1970s and I will miss her terribly. The following video is from the CBC and honors her beautifully

How Mark Carney’s speech at Davos was a wake up call to every country on earth to change the status quo. I found it interesting that the people of the USA think that Carney was just talking about them and their president. He was speaking about all 3 of the superpowers in the world, China, Russia and the USA,and how it’s time for the rest of us need to change how we deal with them. I’m so very proud of those of us who voted to elect him to be our Prime Minister . The world is changing and, in this speech, Carney clearly states that Canada will be on the right side of history.
