Not a thing

Something on your “to-do list” that never gets done.

Because I only do what I can physically do, I don’t have a to-do list. With the possible acception of responding to blog prompts that don’t include me. I’m done politely ignoring a prompt that, not as politely, negates me and my disability. Not everyone works or can work. Some of us are wheelchair users and had to retire because of a medical event. Some of us may have brain damage. I just want consistent prompts that are inclusive of everyone. Is that too much to ask?

  1. I was told along my journey “…that there is no greater crime than stealing from the doctor’s pocket…”. I thought the doctor who said this was displaying a very self effaced sense of humour. Turned out he was making a very matter of fact statement.
I did actually reply when I was alleged to have heard them say thus.. wouldn’t it be grounds for insanity if anyone thought they could get any money out of a doctors?
    Lol.
I had a mate who played keys with us who went in for an operation to do with his epilepsy and he woke up blind for life. Tom never even got any dignity back in that transaction.

  2. I’m not sure why I couldn’t give your post a “like,” but I wholeheartedly agree! While I don’t see the daily prompts, I do see ableism and excluding disabilities everywhere, all the time. It is so unacceptable, even if it’s just a matter of being so-called “tone deaf.”
