Oh yeah. It’s difficult.
I didn’t even mention it’s a Canadian winter 😊. Although it has been a lovely winter with crisp air and no snow where I am, so far, but February could easily be an issue.

I’m jealous. I’m in Southern California. It has been dry on fire hot. We have not had winter yet. We haven’t had rain in four months too.
I’m sorry for your predicament. I lived there for quite a few years myself and still have some friends there. Very scary times.
