Beach or mountains? Which do you prefer? Why?
The beach has always been a no for me, especially now I’m in a wheelchair, but I’ve never been a fan of sand in my nooks and/or crannies. Also, since menopause, it’s just too hot. So if I have to choose, it’s the mountains for me. Snuggling up in front of a roaring fire and sipping on hot chocolate. That sounds much better to me.
Although I was an active scuba diver for many years and lived on the edge of the Sahara Desert for two years I strongly prefer a deep, dark forest.
I take it as it comes, just avoid the concrete jungle.
