What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever found (and kept)?
Is pretty cool. I found him in the hotel in which we were both working. He has played bass in rock bands before I knew him, but that’s not what makes him cool. What makes him cool to me is the fact that he worked in the same hotel for 35 years. That shows he can commit long-term, which, to a single woman, is very attractive . Another cool thing about my husband is the fact that he married me, and AFTER I had a massive stroke . He didn’t run away screaming. Instead, he helped my nurses change my diaper. He sold the house he’d owned for 15 years and bought our condo because I couldn’t climb the stairs in the house, and the condo was well suited for a wheelchair user . He did that without complaint. Another cool thing about him is that he called his mother every day until she passed away a few years ago. That showed me that he is loyal and devoted and dependable. All qualities a single woman should be looking for, and they were. Every nurse at the hospital literally told me that he was marriage material. Thankfully, we were engaged before I was a patient because I would have had some competition. My husband is a good man and the coolest person I know. And I’m keeping him.
Sounds like a good guy. Good on you for being able to recognise a good guy. Many can’t. Bless you both
Thanks, Barney 😊
Sounds like you got a good one there. Good to know there are still some around. 🙂

I’ve been consistently impressed with your accounts of his loving presence in your life. Tell him we’re all in love with him ourselves, but we’re happy that you’re the one who got him.
I told him and he shyly said thank you 😊
Good sharing
Thanks ❤️
