What’s something most people don’t know about you?
When I was 3,my mother took me to see The Nutcracker, and I was inspired. So she enrolled me in ballet classes when I was 4. By the time I reached my teens, I had switched from ballet to tap and jazz dance classes ,but the ballet still remains a love of mine ❤️. Before the age of 13 ,all I wanted was to be a ballerina. I even worked in the marketing department of the National Ballet of Canada for a year in my early 30s. And I’ve taken tap classes as an adult.
The thing that I miss the most now that I’m trying to overcome paralysis is the ability to dance . Unfortunately, before you run, you must walk, and before you dance, you must be able to run. So it’s not looking like I’ll be on the dance floor any time soon.
You might surprise yourself. 🙂
That would be a welcome surprise.
I seriously wanted to join the French Foreign Legion in North Africa. In fact, I was stationed with the U.S. military for two years in Libya (North Africa) and had dealings with both the British and French military.
That’s really interesting. Congratulations on getting so close 👏
Love that one event can light a fire in us… regardless of how long it burns! xx
