What skill would you like to learn?
To speak a few more languages. I currently speak English and some French and a small amount of German. I’d like to gain fluency in both as well as learn more than restaurant Spanish,Russian and Italian. Maybe when I’m done with my current goal of walking around the block.
Judging from the video above, it’s going to be a while.
Oops I mistyped my email. Here is the message I wrote:
I’m improving my German. I use Duolingo, watch Easy German, read a bunch of Reddit, use GoodNotes to create study sets to practice new vocabulary. Later I will probably get a tutor but I think I’ve improved a lot.
I used to be fluent at age two. It’s my mother’s native tongue, but we really didn’t keep up with the practice of speaking it and now I find myself far from fluent. Good for you,though, you seem determined and that will help 👍
