When I lived in California, there was a single mother in my apartment complex who was having a hard time financially. She and her two sons were not able to celebrate Thanksgiving with their own special meal. I don’t celebrate holidays myself, but I do understand what they mean to others . So I headed over to the local supermarket and ordered their catered Thanksgiving dinner with all of the fixings, and I delivered it to their door .
It makes me feel good to do generous things for people if I can.
