The other day hubby and went to view a gorgeous 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo condo with an amazing harbour view. We can afford it and it checked all the boxes for us except one kind of important one. Unfortunately the doorways to both bathrooms were too narrow for my wheelchair. Widening doorways in a condo is not only expensive, but difficult because you need permission from the condo board. I actually cried myself to sleep the night after seeing it and realizing that we couldn’t do it. Today, the seller has lowered the price by 100,000 dollars. If only the price drop came with permission to widen the doorways, we would buy it today. The search continues.

Awww I can feel your disappointment 🤗🤗🤗. That looks like a lovely place, and it would have been absolutely super if you were able to get it in a style that was wheelchair friendly. You missed out on this one, but maybe you’ll actually find and even better option.
The picture are awesome to look at but living in the house long-term as someone who needs to use a wheelchair is a different story and you wouldn’t want to be in a home that looks great but makes you very uncomfortable otherwise, since it isn’t really built with helpful features you need or accommodate them 💙💙
