So, I finally figured out the issue with the video not uploading properly and now you can see it below. I’m able to work out 3 quarters of my body, but the left arm remains spastically paralyzed. Maybe next week I’ll post a video of how much mobility I’ve been able to achieve over the 10 years since my stroke. I think that you might find it interesting.
When I used the Nustep in the hospital during stroke rehab, I had to have my physical therapist stabilize my left leg and my left foot was tethered to the stepper. I’ve certainly come a long way since then. FYI I’m not wearing my AFO brace here.
Wow! Great job, my friend! xo
Thanks, Kymber
Wow – I know the arm must be frustrating but you really do look like you’re doing so much better – does holding the stress-ball confuse you (I find when I’m sick I can’t do two different things at the same time with my body – push my legs or squeeze a ball, but not both… if that makes sense?) Linda xx
The ball is a foam rubber cat toy that keeps my finger nails from digging into the palm
ok – I have a snowman that helps me through my pain days! Sending lots of support and digital hugs your way!!
Thank you, Linda and right back at you my dear 😘
Also, luckily, I’ve known that I won’t have full ability for the arm for over a decade. So it’s not too frustrating.
sooo frustrating! Happy stabilizing on all fronts! ❣️
Thank you, Cindy ❤️
Pleasure!!! xx❣️
