#WheelchairWednesday part two exercise

This machine is the Nustep, aka the machine that I was using in hospital following my massive stroke and heart surgery to remove a large tumor. It took 10 years to be able to afford one of my very own and I couldn’t enjoy it more. This is my 3rd time on it and I’m up to 15 minutes and over 1000 steps, today it was 1170 steps. I’m trying to do 30 minutes by my birthday in July for my short term goal and my long term goal is to be walking around the house without assistance in a years time. If I’m able to accomplish it, then I’ll be trying to walk around the block and beyond. My partially paralyzed left leg is already feeling stronger than ever before and I feel like everything is a possibility. I’m never going to get my left arm and hand back, and that’s perfectly fine with me, but I really want to walk and I’m feeling like it’s more of a possibility every day.
