Apparently Uber drivers don’t understand that our money spends just as well as able people’s money. In the following video from Vancouver, BC Uber drivers are saying no to people with service dogs, either by actually saying no, or by simply driving away from a paying fare. It’s things like this that make me stick with cabs. We need regulations so that disabled people won’t be illegally ignored by drivers who are apparently allergic to money, or who think disability is somehow contagious.
This is terrible! Life is hard as it is, let alone things like this.
Life would be so much better if more people understood empathy.
I couldn’t agree more. xo

It’s an issue around the world I think. Even legislation doesn’t seem to eliminate this nasty behaviour.
We use a MaxiTaxi for wheelchair travel in Melbourne (Australia) and the drivers are generally wonderful.
BTW
The ‘Secret’ powder-cake that you recommended has been great for my wife, thank you.
You are totally welcome ☺️
