And we’ve narrowed down the options of who we’re going buy them from to companies from South Korea or Germany. In the video below, you’ll also see that we’ve signed a deal with Germany to sell some of our rare earth minerals and liquid natural gas. Carney is building on what Trudeau started in other, like-minded countries, and it’s helping Canada step away from dependence upon the USA at this uncertain time in politics there .

Canada and Ukraine
There are more Ukrainian people living in Canada than any other country on the planet, with the exception of Ukraine. We’ve had a long and great relationship with the Ukraine, which is why Mark Carney’s surprise visit on Ukrainian independence day wasn’t a surprise for Canadians. Canada has been and will be on the side of Ukraine financially, and whatever else we can give militarily. In June of this year, Canada coughed up another 2 billion dollars and then some. Take a look at the following video to what else we’re doing.

New additions to our living room and a Caturday surprise
One for me and one for the kitties.
My lift chair was getting warped due to constant use, both sitting during the day and sleeping at night, and so I bought a new lift chair for daytime use, and it only cost 530 CAD! thank you, Amazon.

It’s smaller than the last chair, which was too big for sitting, but the perfect size for sleeping. This new chair cradles my body perfectly, and my lumbar is wonderfully supported. It came equipped with both heat and massage. The massage option also has a timer with options for 10,30,and 60 minutes, which is very convenient. I love the faux leather fabric. It’s soft on my skin. The cup holders are perfect for housing the remotes. There are pockets on both sides of the chair as well as in front of both cup holders, and I’m making good use of all of them. My only complaint is that it doesn’t recline fully, but for a daytime chair, it does what I need it to do.
And now for the cats. They got a new cat tree today, and Athena loves it already, but Khonsu hasn’t woken up from his post breakfast nap yet, so we won’t know how he feels about it until later.

The tree is another Amazon find 150 CAD . Good price for such a big model.
As you can see, we still have both the older lift chair and the older cat tree. Although we originally thought that the older tree would end up out in the fully covered patio area, we really like it where it is now as it gives the cats the option to look out the other window.

As I was about to sign off, I glanced at the new tree to see Khonsu enjoying it with Athena. We have approval from both cats 🐈 😻

Here we go again

The American dream, but don’t tell the folks living in the USA
I’ve long been saying that the American dream isn’t dead. It’s alive and well has simply moved north. Mister Maffin agrees.
