Those dirty little Traitors

The traitors usa season 2 cast

What movies or TV series have you watched more than 5 times?

I recently discovered and BINGED The Traitors. A show that I am apparently quite late in discovering. I’ve seen both seasons of the US version, the Canadian version, the version from New Zealand, the first season from the UK and the second season from Australia, all in the past week! They can all be found on Crave TV in Canada and on peacock in the USA. Every host brings something a little different, but my favorites are Alan Cumming and the French actress who hosts the Canadian version.

Without giving up any information that would spoil anything, this is a game show and a reality competition show combined with a who -done -it mystery and it’s genius at provoking paranoia. At the start of each season, 3 traitors are secretly chosen from the  rest of the cast who are known as the faithful and, they  have to find out who the traitors are. With wonderful scenery and an eerie vibe throughout, the cast is taken through a series of creepy challenges to earn money for the prize pot. And each night the traitors must murder one of the faithful, as well as a round table discussion where everyone votes for who they think is a traitor, and the person with the most votes is banished from the show. At the end of the season, if even one traitor is still standing, they take the prize pot. If not, then the faithful who are left share the pot.

CONFUSED?  Makes sense if you are, but you won’t be at the end of the first season you watch.

Warning ⚠️ if you hate a cliffhanger or so many twists and turns in a show that you should watch every episode twice, you may want to skip this. But if you like a show that is less predictable and a concept that is unusual, this is the show for you.

  1. Movies more than five times?
    Let’s see…
    As good as it gets
    Something’s got to give
    Groundhog day
    Life of Brian
    Alien
    Gladiator
    Star Wars IV, V, VI.
    Both Grumpy old men films
    Martian
    Bladerunner
    Bladerunner 2049
    Bourne series

All of them I first saw at the cinema or on TV except Bladerunner 2049 which I forget where I first saw it. I think it was on a flash drive my son borrowed?

I’m not very adventurous with new movies and tend to stick to what I love and have a habit of watching some over and over.
I was inspired to grow my own potatoes after watching Matt Damon grow some in the Martian. I kid you not!
My family tease me about it.

As for series, only Big Bang Theory comes to mind.

Nice to you put up a post.
    How’s things?
