Today, my mother, my husband, and I went to a fancy hotel for high tea to top off our birthmonth. I had a wonderful time seeing old friends, as the hotel was a workplace for me and the hubby back before my stroke. I had a not so wonderful time watching the two of them eating all of the lovely things that were served with tea. Unfortunately, I discovered that my lower denture always needs adhesive if I plan on eating, during the second tiny bite of a curried chicken sandwich when my denture slipped nearly out of my mouth  as I moved my tongue to swallow. No worries, though. I gorged myself as soon as we returned home . I tore into my doggy bag immediately.  The tea was a lovely way to mark our birthmonth.
