#Purrsday with brand new kittens

I’ve been subscribed to this YouTube channel for years, and it’s a wonderful channel from Sweden all about Maine Coon cats and the breeding of them. Sometimes it’s a bit challenging to watch, which is why I posted this video of new mother Ada after she gave birth, and everyone is all clean and happy as opposed to the video that was posted before it that shows the kittens being born. Even though I enjoyed it, I thought that some of you might be a bit squeamish. If you’d like to see it, you’ll find it easily on their channel page.

#WheelchairWednesday a fun comparison

Full disclosure, I purchased 2 wheelchair Barbie dolls, one for my niece and the other for my friend’s little girl and I was impressed by how well detailed the chair is. Both girls are fully physically able. I purchased the dolls as a memento of my relationship with them and in hope that it’s will normalize wheelchair users in their lives. The video below is a comparison between the Barbie wheelchair and a young woman’s manual wheelchair, and it’s very cute.

#BlasphemySunday

I consider myself an atheist. My wife is Jewish. And I’m fine with my son being raised as a Jew. He’s learning Hebrew and is really into it. I will talk to my own son about my atheism when the time is right. But there’s a great tradition of Jewish atheism, there are no better atheists in the world than the Jews.
