#FeministFriday I’m taking great glee in finally being able to say it

I don’t have children by choice, but I’ve always wanted to have a reason to say a particular phrase to a man, and yesterday morning I finally got to say it to my husband. I awoke this morning horribly sick, achy joints, skin and head entirely stuffed up, and an exhausting fever. Over the past few days, the hubby claimed to have a sinus infection, he gets them from time to time, so I thought little of it. Yesterday morning I finally got the perfect reason. The phrase is YOU DID THIS TO ME! I’ve been taking great glee in saying this hourly ever since, so much so that I almost don’t want to get better… almost .

#GoodNewsMonday improvement

My journey on my way to 30 minutes  on my Nustep machine has seen some improvement.  Starting with a level 3 of resistance and 21 minutes, followed by the very next day at level 4 resistance and 16 minutes and 33 seconds. There will be video posted this week of me using the Nustep, I’m loving using it and am on it every other day, if only because it’s better to give a days break with my paralyzed leg. I’m definitely getting stronger on the leg and that has been a source of encouragement for me. It’s been wonderful to be getting exercise and I can’t wait to see where it takes me. I’ve adjusted my goal of 30 minutes by July to 30 minutes by April because I really believe it’s doable without overdoing it. My long term goal remains walking around the condo within the year without my AFO brace or a cane… fingers crossed. Even if I must use the cane, it will be huge improvement for me.

The Nustep tr4 this is what I’m so happy about.
