Nurses are coming to Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦. Great story from The National

I want to say a huge THANK YOU to Brandy and every nurse, doctor, and healthcare worker who has heeded our call and made the move north . The problem is not fixed yet, so if you’re a healthcare worker who is thinking about moving to Canada, I hope that you do it. The opportunities abound, and you will be welcomed ☺️

Last night, I finally got around to it

There’s a movie I’ve been meaning to see for a very long time. In fact, I was just 7 years old when it was released in the theater. With the passing of Diane Keaton last week, I finally got around to watching it. You see, I’m a big fan of mob movies, and somehow, it’s taken me until last night to see the Godfather.

I still have 32 minutes left to watch, so don’t tell me how it ends. Also, I will be watching part two this week, and I can’t wait because my absolute favorite actor is in it . I’ll be reviewing both parts later this week. So, if you have any interest in seeing what a 60 year old female wheelchair user thinks about a 53 year old movie, she’s only just gotten around to watching. Stay tuned.

Three outcomes of a fall in one week

Last Saturday, I fell. My outcome was soft tissue damage and a mild concussion.  My husband found out that his friend fell. His outcome was a broken nose. And musician Ace Frehley fell. His outcome was death from a brain hemorrhage just hours later. I was lucky. On Monday, I pick up my new glasses, which should help with my balance. I need to do everything in my power to stay on my feet because I’m not trying to push my luck.
