Dry swab and dizziness

In the last two days, I’ve had a dry swab pap test that was very painful and performed by my female family doctor. When I asked her why it was so painful, she replied because it’s dry. When I peed afterward, it burned my urethra, but it got more comfortable the next few times that I peed. My last pee of the night, my urethra bled a tiny bit ,but it was fine the next morning when I went to the hospital for a CT scan of my brain because I’ve been having some issues with dizziness. The scan included contrast dye, and I’m pretty sure that it has caused a UTI. I can tell because of the smell of my urine this morning. But I will wait a couple of days before requesting a test so that I can flush out my system. I just had a Uti in June, and I don’t want to jump the gun with more antibiotics until I’m sure. I’m expecting an echocardiogram soon as well because I’m experiencing some shortness of breath when I move lately, and that’s the one symptom that I had with my heart tumor. 10 years post stroke, it’s fallen down to me to monitor these things because my specialists have forgotten about me. You think that would be a good thing, because they are assuming that I’m fine, but you know what they say about what happens when you assume, and I’m not trying to be an ass.
